Generally, the higher the polarization degree of sunglasses, the more effective the anti-glare cutting effect becomes, but on the flip side, there are challenges such as screens of navigation systems and smartphones becoming hard to see at certain angles, and wet roads or uneven surfaces appearing too flat. By keeping the polarization degree at about 80%, the lenses of "AF-OS13LP" reduce glare while ensuring the visibility of LCD screens. The lenses are available in two types: gray (polarization degree 79%, visible light transmittance 53%) and brown (polarization degree 81%, visible light transmittance 43%). The gray lenses feature a natural visibility that makes it easy to distinguish the colors of signals and signs, while the brown lenses excel in visibility on wet roads during backlighting in the morning and evening, making them particularly suitable for driving scenes.

Both have a UV cut rate of over 99.9%, and since UV absorbers are blended into the lenses themselves, the UV cut functionality persists even if the surface gets scratched. The blue light cut rates are 49% for gray lenses and 78% for brown lenses, also reducing flicker from prolonged use.
