Arc'teryx, leading the evolution of outdoor products, has announced its Spring/Summer 2026 collection. The new "BETA SV JACKET" and "BETA SV PANT" have been added to the brand's iconic GORE-TEX products. No worries even in harsh alpine hiking scenes!

100 denier ePE GORE-TEX PRO has evolved further!

The "Beta SV" has undergone multiple updates. In this model, the materials have been renewed to accommodate harsh alpine hiking in exposed ridgelines and unpredictable mountain environments.

The biggest feature is the adoption of the next-generation ePE membrane "GORE-TEX PRO," which has been reinforced to 100 denier. It is the only 100 denier specification in the BETA collection, significantly improving durability compared to the conventional 80 denier. This alpine-specific hard shell achieves both toughness and lightness, maintaining almost the same weight while leveraging the lightweight characteristics of the ePE membrane.

This next-generation model features a PFAS-free membrane that does not use organic fluorine compounds, combined with carefully selected materials such as recycled fabrics, solution-dyed fabrics, and undyed fabrics. It is lighter and more durable compared to the conventional ePTFE membrane, swiftly expelling sweat as water vapor due to its excellent breathability. Furthermore, its high wind resistance prevents a drop in body temperature, achieving a long product lifespan by passing rigorous tests.

Pay attention to the alpine-specific details as well. It features a helmet-compatible storm hood with a three-point adjuster and pit zippers. A total of five pockets, including chest, hand, inside dump, and laminated pockets, are equipped with a practical 2-way zipper that is easy to use during belaying, demonstrating a thoughtfully practical design throughout.
