The popular glove series "TEMRES" from Showa Gloves has been equipped with specifications that can withstand winter mountaineering. Developed in collaboration with world-renowned climber Jun Yamada, it has been finished to perfection without any gaps. Let's take a look at the detailed specifications.

The combination of outer and inner ensures operability

When it comes to the "Temres" series, its high breathability and waterproof properties are a major appeal. Additionally, it excels in lightness and thermal insulation, making it suitable for activities like climbing, biking, and winter sports, thus gaining support for its versatility. On the other hand, there seem to be some challenges, such as insufficient thermal efficiency during the harsh winter months from December to February, difficulties in drying after washing, and the drawcord being too short for a secure fit.

In response, Showa Gloves collaborated with Mr. Yamada, a representative of Field & Mountain who set the record as the youngest to summit the highest peak on each of the seven continents. They completed the new product "Temres TFmitten (Trigger Finger Mitten)."

This is a three-finger mitten type that combines a thin and soft trigger mitten outer with a thick inner, balancing operability and thermal insulation. The inner is brushed on both sides to trap dead air.

The outer can be used alone, allowing for adjustment according to temperature. Furthermore, it is treated with a slip-resistant finish, providing excellent grip.

The leash code is standard equipped

Furthermore, by adopting fluorescent tape only on the right hand, it has been adjusted to make it easier to distinguish left and right even in the dark, potentially eliminating pre-departure stress.

Of course, the breathability, waterproofness, and lightness that have been features of the "TEMRES" series so far are inherited, so usability remains unchanged. It seems interesting to challenge this mitten in this year's snowy mountains.
