Born from a harsh expedition to Maine, USA, TEKTO Knives has introduced its first fixed-blade knife, the "X1 ATLAS." The blade features "CPM MagnaCut," a stainless steel designed specifically for knives through powder metallurgy. It overturns the traditional fate of steels that are either rust-resistant but prone to chipping, or chip-resistant but susceptible to rust, thanks to its component design.

By avoiding the chromium carbide that leads to chipping, it achieves high corrosion resistance, excellent edge retention, and durability. This is a knife that can be used vigorously without worrying about blade wear, even during camping on rainy days or fishing by the seaside.

The "X1 ATLAS" features a full tang construction where a single piece of steel runs from the blade tip to the end of the handle. Since there are no joints between the blade and the handle, it is less prone to wobbling even during heavy-duty tasks, making it ideal for splitting wood and bushcrafting, providing a reliable feel.

While ensuring high strength, the body weighs only 110g. The secret of its lightness lies in the G10 material handle, which is made with a hollowing process using a laminate of fiberglass and resin. By removing only the unnecessary parts, it achieves a nimble operability that doesn’t cause fatigue even during prolonged use.

When it gets dirty from cooking or woodworking, simply wash it off with water and wipe it dry with a soft cloth. There’s no need to go through the hassle of applying oil, and it can be stored directly in its sheath.

Additionally, it holds its edge well, so the frequency of sharpening is low. Since the carbide of the steel is finely and uniformly dispersed, its reaction to sharpening tools is also good. The main body comes with a "KYDEX sheath" that is heat-molded to the shape of the knife. It is resistant to water and UV rays, so there is no worry about mold from moisture or deformation like with a leather sheath. By gently pressing the side of the sheath with your thumb while pulling, you can easily draw and sheath it without applying force.

The included belt clip can be freely repositioned to your preferred location or orientation using screws.
