The new "VANLIFE" embodies a California-style worldview

Toy Factory, which holds the top position in the domestic manufacturing of camping cars based on the Hiace, has launched "VANLIFE" in collaboration with its group company Beans.

Let's take a look inside the new model, which allows for camping in the Ducato while expressing the California-style worldview in the interior.

A unique "1 ROOM" space with beautiful wood grain

The interior concept is "1 ROOM". Within the Ducato's space of approximately 4.5 square meters (about 2.7 tatami mats), a private space unfolds.

The interior finishes for the ceiling, floor, and walls are made of "oak wood," known for its durability against water, even being used for wine barrels. Additionally, to allow for casual use during various hobbies and activities like surfing, fishing, and snowboarding, the vintage processing known as band-saw processing is encouraged, followed by a coating that matches the image of each floor and wall.

The interior, which combines functionality and beauty, looks comfortable enough for extended camping trips.

The one-of-a-kind interior, which conveys the warmth of natural wood, seems to transform into a special healing place as a private space just for oneself.

Customizable Interior Arrangement Just for You

Another significant feature of "VANLIFE" is its freely adjustable interior. Using equipment like ceiling lighting rails, it can be arranged much like redecorating a room, which is appealing.

Brass nuts and lighting rails feature refined designs by the CRAFTPLUS brand, allowing for personal touches to be added to the interior.

Standard seating is for 2 passengers and sleeping for 2. With optional selections, it can be changed to accommodate 4 passengers and 4 sleeping. The interior customization is limitless, allowing for an ideal space that fits various styles.

By choosing the optional second seat (REVO seat 1,000mm), the passenger capacity increases by +2, making it a total of 4 passengers. Furthermore, by extending the second seat into a bed and connecting it with the lower mattress, the bed space expands further. The floor bed size is L2190mm×W1000mm, allowing for +2 passengers to sleep lengthwise in the vehicle.

With the addition of this optional second seat, the VANLIFE model can accommodate sleeping for 4 adults with both a permanent rear bed and a floor bed.

Standard mini sink, with optional home air conditioner

A stainless-steel mini sink (with water supply and drainage tanks of 12L each) and a cassette stove are standard equipment for washing dishes and handwashing. Since the Ducato is built with a high interior height of 1850mm, it is also possible to stand and work in front of the kitchen counter.

Additionally, there are abundant optional features to enjoy comfortable camping. Tables and electrical packages can also be included.

Home air conditioners for summer and FF heaters for comfortable winter camping are also available. You won’t have to worry about the seasons or weather.
