【Honda】First mass-market model with hands-off feature! New grade added to “ACCORD”
Honda's “ACCORD” has been updated with a new grade “e:HEV Honda SENSING 360+”. It includes the first hands-off feature for the company's mass-market models, along with numerous driving assistance and safety support features. Let's take a closer look at the equipment.
Check out the functions of the "Honda SENSING 360+"!

The new grade "e:HEV Honda SENSING 360+" of the "ACCORD" includes five additional systems, starting with the hands-off function-equipped advanced lane-keeping assist feature, which is the first of its kind to be adopted in Honda’s mass-production models. Check the details of each function.
①Advanced lane-keeping assist feature with hands-off function
While driving on highways and expressways, the system operates the accelerator, brakes, and steering to assist the driver in maintaining vehicle speed and staying within the lane even with their hands off the steering wheel. Utilizing high-precision maps and a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), it identifies the vehicle's position and gathers road information, supporting hands-off driving under certain conditions.
When there are no preceding vehicles, it maintains the vehicle speed set while keeping to the center of the lane even in hands-off mode. When a preceding vehicle is present, it follows while maintaining an appropriate distance.

② Recommend-type lane change assist feature
With the hands-off functional advanced lane-keeping assistance activated while driving on highways or expressways, the system detects a leading vehicle with a lower speed than your own. If the system judges that overtaking is possible considering the surrounding conditions, the driver can approve the overtaking by using a switch. This activates the turn signal, acceleration and deceleration, and steering operations. It assists with overtaking and returning to the lane. Additionally, the system supports lane changes at junctions and exits to reach the set destination in the navigation, as well as lane changes when the number of driving lanes decreases.

③ Early warning for road departure when navigating curves
When driving through curves on highways or expressways, warnings and deceleration assistance are implemented to suppress the occurrence of curve runoff accidents if it is judged that there is a risk of an accident unless immediate deceleration is performed. When entering a curve at high speed, a prompt indicating "Caution: Upcoming Curve" is displayed on the meter to encourage early recognition by the driver.
As the vehicle approaches a curve and the timing for deceleration is required, a warning is issued to prompt the driver to decelerate through an audible alert and a blinking display on the head-up display. Furthermore, if the driver approaches the curve at the same speed and immediate deceleration is required, in addition to the warning notification, strong deceleration brakes are applied to encourage the driver to slow down.

④ Warning of approaching vehicles when exiting
When parked, if a vehicle approaching from the rear is detected, an indicator on the side mirror lights up to assist in recognition. If the door that the occupant attempts to open for exiting may collide with a vehicle passing by the side of their own vehicle, the indicator blinks and an alarm sound is used to alert the driver.

⑤Driver Abnormality Response System
If there is no response from the driver to the system's operation request, the warning sound is intensified to encourage the driver to respond to the operation request. If the driver still does not operate, it assists in decelerating and stopping in the same lane while alerting surrounding vehicles with hazard lights and the horn. Furthermore, it connects to the emergency support center to ensure the safety of the driver, passengers, and other road users.

Exterior & Interior Now Even More Stylish!
The exterior features a new design with black door mirrors and exclusive aluminum wheels in Berlina Black, creating a more high-quality and stylish appearance.

The interior features a dedicated black interior with unified black roof lining and pillars, as well as a newly set white interior with white leather, providing a high-quality and luxurious space.
