The next-generation digital mirror "RAY26" equipped with a mirror LCD display. It keeps a clear view even during times of strong sunlight like midsummer or when it gets dim.

I had the impression that "digital mirrors are complicated to set up and switch..." but it's a simple mechanism that displays the camera feed when powered on and quickly becomes a mirror when turned off. It seems easy to handle.

When powered on, the transmittance increases to about 80%, displaying a clear camera image on the rear TFT LCD. Conversely, when powered off, the transmittance decreases and the reflectivity increases, providing a natural appearance that is no different from a real mirror.

The mirror LCD display suppresses reflections caused by external light to about 8%. Even with strong sunlight, it minimizes reflections and achieves a clear and easily visible view. The camera mode and mirror mode can be switched with one touch according to the situation, so it will secure a clear rear view even when the view is obstructed by cargo or rear-seat passengers. In mirror mode, it is useful for checking on children or pets in the back seat.

Additionally, it is equipped with image stabilization features. The HDR function prevents light diffusion and reduces glare from the headlights of following vehicles.

The front camera employs an image sensor with Sony’s STARVIS2 technology. Low-light performance and dynamic range have dramatically improved, allowing for the recording of clear and natural footage with reduced noise at night by capturing headlights and surrounding light.

The 9.55-inch display features a high-brightness backlight of 1600 candelas. The illumination sensor detects the surrounding brightness and automatically adjusts the screen brightness accordingly.

The display range of the rear camera can be adjusted in 9 steps vertically. You can also enlarge the rear camera image in 5 steps, making it easier to gauge the distance from the following vehicle, which is helpful for safety checks during high-speed driving and at night.
