The role of the bypass diode also includes preventing the hot spot phenomenon, where a part of the panel becomes overheated. By preventing damage due to heat, it enhances safety and extends the lifespan.

The weight of the solar panels is light, with 100W weighing 2.1kg and 200W weighing 3.6kg, and they are also only 2.5mm thick, making them very easy to carry.
