By simply attaching it to the front of the awning, the previously open space transforms into a semi-private area that feels like a "room."

It effectively blocks sunlight that comes in from the diagonal or side, and it can also protect against temporary rain. The time spent with children napping or enjoying coffee in a folding chair becomes much more comfortable. Adopting a simple installation method that uses guy ropes and pegs, complicated setups are unnecessary.

The "DARCHE×GORDON MILLER FRONT EXTENSION 2.5" utilizes the same polyester-cotton "canvas ripstop" as DARCHE products. It is a special material that combines the lightweight and easy handling of polyester with the natural water repellency, light-blocking ability, and heat resistance of cotton when it absorbs moisture.

By weaving the high-performance fabric in a grid pattern known as ripstop, it has been finished as a tough material resistant to fraying and tearing. The water resistance is stated to be 2000mm, which is about four times that of a typical umbrella. Even if light rain continues overnight, it will provide solid protection for the sleeping family.
