Volvo Cars has announced the "EX60 Cross Country," which enhances the driving performance and freedom of the new "EX60," the flagship model of the next-generation EVs, coinciding with its global unveiling. This model, which inherits the heritage of the "Cross Country" series that has captivated many fans since its inception in 1997, is gaining attention as a vehicle that can effortlessly traverse all types of roads, from urban areas to unpaved paths, in a way that is suitable for the era of electrification.

One of the features of the new EX60 Cross Country is its rugged and expressive styling that is immediately recognizable. A dedicated body color inspired by Scandinavian nature, "Frost Green," is available, and stainless steel skid plates at the front and rear give it a strong impression.

In addition, the wide wheel arches, specially designed wheels, and unique identity etched on the D pillar emphasize its special status within Volvo's lineup.

The SUV's inherent high eye point is further enhanced, raising the minimum ground clearance by 20mm compared to the standard model EX60. This allows the driver to grasp the forward situation more accurately and to achieve a sure sense of control even in harsh road conditions.

Additionally, thanks to the latest air suspension system, it is now possible to further increase the ride height by 20mm depending on road conditions. This feature balances off-road capability and on-road comfort at a high level.

Two AWD models, "P10" and "P12," pioneering the era of electrification

The new EX60 Cross Country will sequentially introduce two types of AWD powertrains tailored to users' lifestyles. The "P10 AWD Electric," which will be introduced first, offers a maximum range of 640km and powerful acceleration performance, covering a wide range from daily use to long-distance drives.

The upcoming "P12 AWD Electric" is expected to achieve an overwhelming extension of range with next-generation battery technology. Both models are equipped with Volvo's traditional safety philosophy and the latest driving assistance systems. They appear to smartly support all adventures as a new standard in the electrification era.
