To use the engine for a long time and comfortably, a new standard

The new API/ILSAC standard "SQ/GF-7" not only improves fuel efficiency but also addresses issues like LSPI (Low-Speed Pre-Ignition), which tends to be problematic in direct-injection turbo engines, and wear prevention of timing chains, focusing more on practical aspects. Given the increased load on engines in modern vehicle environments, the quality of oil will directly affect fuel economy and durability.

The revamped "COSMO FILLIO" series consists of high-performance gasoline engine oils based on 100% synthetic oil (with some products excluded). Performance surpassing standard values has been confirmed in various API-certified engine tests, such as fuel economy tests, wear tests, and LSPI prevention tests, helping to keep engines in good condition for a long time.

Particularly as the number of direct-injection turbo vehicles increases, its ability to demonstrate stable lubrication and protection performance seems to provide peace of mind for a wide range of uses, from everyday driving to long-distance trips.

The newly added "COSMO FILLIO 0W-8" is a model developed to meet further fuel economy needs of next-generation vehicles. Its ultra-low viscosity contributes to improved fuel economy through reduced resistance. Although "0W-8" does not meet the API/ILSAC "SQ/GF-7" standard, it is compatible with passenger cars sold in Japan. It may become an option considering future engine designs.
