Information about Kawasaki's "Ninja H2 CARBON" has finally arrived! Scheduled for release on January 23 next year, priced at 4.18 million yen

Finally, the domestic release date for Kawasaki's new "Ninja H2 CARBON" has been set. Many riders are likely looking forward to January 23, 2027. Let's take a look at a machine that retains sharp acceleration in the high RPM range while further strengthening low to mid-speed torque.

With a thick torque that is easy to handle and feels pleasant when revving up

the newly evolved supercharged performance of the new "Ninja H2 CARBON." It is equipped with a 998cm³ inline 4-cylinder supercharged engine. The maximum output is 200PS. The 2027 model has undergone significant enhancements, focusing more on the everyday usable RPM range than on just the numbers. The supercharger, combustion chamber, cam profile, and intake and exhaust systems have been re-evaluated to strengthen the torque feel at 4000 to 7000rpm.

By changing the piston crown shape to increase the compression ratio, adjustments have been made to the inlet angle of the impeller blades, intake chamber, funnel length, and throttle valve diameter.
While retaining the enjoyment of revving to high RPMs typical of the H2, the low to mid RPM range is solidly enhanced. This update allows for smooth extraction of the seemingly unmanageable 200PS of high power.

A wild power boost through lower gearing

The changes do not end with the engine. The secondary reduction ratio has been lowered from the conventional 2.444 (44/18) to 2.588 (44/17). While this might seem like a small difference at first glance, the aim is to achieve a strong acceleration feeling from the low to mid RPM range. Additionally, the 4-into-1 exhaust system has been made lighter and more compact. The pipe diameter has been optimized to match the output characteristics, adopting a straight pipe style.
While maintaining the sharp acceleration feel when revved to high RPMs, it exhibits strong torque from low to mid-speed ranges. This change enhances the acceleration response to throttle input, further refining the unique riding experience of the Ninja H2 CARBON.

The wild power is effectively stopped with Brembo brakes

Running, stopping, and turning are the three essential elements for a motorcycle. A high-powered and high-rev engine must be paired with reliable stopping power. The front is equipped with Brembo's Hypure calipers, a first for Kawasaki, combined with φ330mm semi-floating discs. The front suspension features KYB AOS-II, while the rear utilizes Öhlins TTX36.<
The frame adopts a unique trellis design. It pursues light handling and high stability, forming a chassis that supports the powerful supercharged engine.

Kawasaki overload

The body features Kawasaki's original silver mirror paint, which enhances the metallic feel by reviewing the size and amount of reflective particles. The wheels utilize water transfer printing for the first time in Kawasaki's history. The upper cowl is made of carbon fiber.

The full-color TFT LCD offers two display modes, with Type 2 allowing for the selection of bank angle and pitch angle displays inspired by aircraft HUDs, in addition to boost pressure display.
What is installed is a motorcycle-specific supercharger developed by leveraging insights from Kawasaki Heavy Industries Group's aerospace technology. In the 2027 model, the inlet angle of the impeller blades and the intake system are optimized to achieve a balance between low to mid-range torque feel and high RPM acceleration performance.
