Onward Kashiyama presents the brand "JOSEPH ABBOUD MOUNTAIN," which combines functionality for outdoor scenes with stylishness that stands out in urban settings. This summer, the brand has released a novel heat protection wear, the "FREEZE PACK POLO," designed to cool your body with a cooling gel.

It looks like a typical polo shirt, but as shown in the photo, the included cooling gel is effective on hot days. By freezing the gel in the freezer and simply placing it in the pocket located on the inner back, you can achieve a cooling effect. Three gels are included, and you can use one while keeping the remaining two as spares. There’s also a dedicated cooling pouch to carry it while maintaining coldness until you reach your destination.

The cooling effect can maintain a sensation of about 10°C for approximately one hour at an outside temperature of 27°C. Even when frozen, it retains its softness and fits the curve of your back, allowing you to feel the coolness immediately after wearing it.

The polo shirt material is a blend of cotton and recycled polyester, featuring a dry texture from the piqué weave and excellent moisture-wicking properties. The interior of the cooling gel pocket is made from aluminum taffeta material, effectively blocking outside heat while trapping cool air for superior cooling performance.

The lineup consists of two types: a simple plain type and a leaf print design that exudes a resort feel. It seems great to use them appropriately depending on the scene, whether for commuting, golf, or outdoor activities.
