The men's apparel brand "MEN’S BIGI" celebrates its 50th anniversary in October 2025. As part of this commemorative project, a custom blouson based on the L-2B from the American factory brand "VALLEYAPPAREL" has been created.

The design was crafted by artist Takahiko Kawamura from "TODAY edition." This one-of-a-kind piece combines the ruggedness of military wear with the free sensibility of art. It's a collaborative item that truly befits the 50th anniversary, garnering great attention.

Pursued Design

The graphic design is by artist Takahiko Kawamura, reconstructing the silhouette of a musician into an abstract painting. Furthermore, the artwork is born from inverting that painting. The original graphic expressed in "light" conveys a quiet yet strong spirit, containing the artist's statement.

The base is lightweight and easy to move in, offering a stress-free wearing experience suitable for daily use. It can be styled casually or paired with slacks for a more mature mix style.

A Special Piece of Tradition x Art

A shorter length and a relaxed fit that allows you to wear it without straining your shoulders are its charms. The sleeves are loose and wide for easy movement, and it doesn’t feel cramped even when layered with innerwear, making it perfect for a "something to throw on" on cold days.

The details characteristic of the L-2B flight jacket, such as the shoulder pen pocket, cigarette pocket, and inner pockets, are carefully retained.
