【Columbia】Limited to 1993 pairs worldwide! The legendary iconic boots "Bugaboot 1" are back

Introduced in 1993 as Columbia's first footwear, the "Bugaboot 1" is being released as a limited edition retro model equipped with the latest technology after about 30 years.

The legendary iconic boots make a comeback

with "Bugaboot 1" featuring the original design while incorporating the latest footwear technology. A limited edition of “1993 pairs” globally, coinciding with the year of release, will have the serial number embroidered.

The original Bugaboot was born from the collaboration between founder Gert Boyle and current CEO Tim Boyle, along with designer Peter Moore, who has produced masterpieces at Nike and Adidas. It is said to have been named after the Bugaboo mountain range in Canada, featuring a hybrid design that combines the durable structure of duck boots with the comfort of athletic shoes, similar to the already popular "Bugaboo 3-in-1 jacket" at the time.

The 2025 revival model integrates the latest technology, such as excellent grip from the Omni-Grip outsole and lightweight cushioning from Techlite. It is limited to 1993 pairs globally, and can be enjoyed with a dedicated shoe box and keychain.
