【BAPE】The stack of banknotes stool is just too impactful...! Collaboration Vol. 5 with “Saint Michael”

As a symbolic presence in street fashion, “A BATHING APE (hereinafter, BAPE)” has been leading the scene for over 30 years. BAPE has once again announced a collaboration collection with designer Yuta Hosokawa and artist Cali DeWitt featuring “SAINT Mxxxxxx.”

An item with outstanding impact as an accent for winter fashion!

Following the August release, this will be the fifth collaboration. This time, two items are lined up: BAPE's iconic item "SHARK HOODIE" and a stool that strongly catches the eye as an interior piece.

The "SHARK HOODIE" has been restructured by SAINT Mxxxxxx. It is inspired by the archive's SHARK HOODIE and features a thermal fabric with a textured lining. The real tree camouflage, inspired by natural trees, is interpreted anew through the lens of Mr. Hosoki.

The authentic vintage processing with attention to detail, such as damage and fading, is also impressive, as is typical of SAINT Mxxxxxx. With a double zip design, it is shaped into a box silhouette, making it functional as an outerwear piece. Given that recent winters tend to be warmer, many people will likely go out in a style with a scarf wrapped around the hoodie.

What made me do a double take was the stool designed to resemble a stack of cash. It features a stack of bills with the APE HEAD depicted, and following DROP1, the visual model is provided by Mr. SWAY. The shoot was conducted at BAPEXCLUSIVE AOYAMA, photographed by Mr. RK. I absolutely want this.
