The popular series, which is about to celebrate its 50th anniversary,

debuted in 1976 with the "ADISTAR," originally introduced as a lightweight track spike intended for racing. In the 2000s, with the increasing demand for long-distance running shoes, the silhouette was modified.

Now, as we approach the spring/summer season of 2026, marking its 60th anniversary, two new models, the "ADISTAR XLG 2.0" and "ADISTAR CONTROL 5," make their debut.

The "ADISTAR XLG 2.0" features a classic style that blends the running aesthetics of the 2000s with a modern sensibility. It comes equipped with adiPRENE cushioning in the heel and a bar outsole that provides high grip, making it both stylish and functional.

The "ADISTAR CONTROL 5," which first appeared in 2008, has been reimagined as a new generation shoe, featuring a durable rubber outsole, metallic overlays, and a mesh upper.
