Hublot announced a special timepiece, “Spirit of Big Bang Year of the Horse Frosted Carbon,” to celebrate the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Horse at LVMH Watch Week 2026. Only 88 pieces are available. This rare model is a fusion of Hublot's material innovation and cultural symbolism.

In Chinese culture, the horse symbolizes ambition, perseverance, and the momentum to move forward. The dial of this piece is designed with inspiration drawn from Tang dynasty art, showcasing a horse outlined in gold that displays a powerful and dynamic stance. This motif, also referred to as the "Spirit of the Dragon Horse," resonates with Hublot's philosophy of continuously embracing challenges and never standing still. It is not merely a zodiac motif, but an expression that symbolizes a "way of life," embedded throughout the watch.

The most distinctive feature is the carbon marquetry used on the dial. By cutting, aligning, and assembling carbon—a material that is among the most challenging to handle in modern watchmaking—by hand, it is finished to resemble intricate inlay work.
