The "YY-GATTA" is an off-court shoe equipped with waterproof and breathable functions. It boasts a design that is easy to use not only in rainy and outdoor conditions but also on sunny days and in the city.

The biggest feature of Yonex's off-court shoes is the Yonex original shock-absorbing rebound material Power Cushion Plus, integrated into the midsole. By installing a material in the sole that allows a raw egg dropped from 12m to bounce back more than 6m without breaking, it alleviates the shock to the knees while supporting a light and bouncy walking experience.

Power Cushion Plus is used from the footbed to the heel. Additionally, the Power Carbon, which suppresses the twisting of the shoe, reduces the shaking during walking, making it pleasing to walk steadily even on poorly surfaced roads.

The upper part uses a waterproof film and water-repellent synthetic fibers (mesh), and the insole is made from breathable synthetic resin. It repels water while releasing moisture inside the shoe, keeping a comfortable fit.

The outsole is made from rubber infused with fiberglass. It provides grip even on slippery surfaces such as rainy or frozen roads.
