The adult's bullet trip "night bus" is comfortable! Enjoying USJ until evening and heading to Yokohama the next morning
After fully enjoying USJ until closing time, having plans in Yokohama the next morning… it was the comfortable night bus that made such a selfish schedule possible. With independent seats and starry sky effects, it was like a moving lounge. I could sleep soundly and save both time and money. I honestly report on this adult's bullet trip experience.
If you want to play from morning till night, there is a recommended option for you

"I want to fully enjoy USJ until closing time. But I have an unmissable plan in Yokohama the next morning." To make this tight schedule work, several conditions need to be met. The Shinkansen has already finished operating at that time. Staying at a hotel makes it hard to predict the travel time for the next morning and incurs additional costs. Driving is also an option, but considering fatigue and safety, it's not realistic.
In this situation, I happened to try taking a night bus, and I was surprised by its comfort, which far exceeded my expectations.

Safe even after USJ closes! The shortest route to the night bus

Even after playing at USJ until 10 PM closing time, the access to the night bus was smoother than I imagined. First, I moved from JR Universal City Station to JR Osaka Station. The travel time by train is about 13 minutes.

After arriving at Osaka Station, it's about a 3-minute walk to the bus departure point "Herbis OSAKA."

The directions were easy to understand, and I was able to reach the bus stop without getting lost even for the first time. There are convenience stores and restrooms nearby, so I had enough time to prepare myself.
A comfortable space like a private lounge on a moving vehicle

At 10:30 PM, the first thing that surprised me about getting on the bus was the comfort of the space.

The independent reclining seats for one person are equipped with leg rests and footrests, allowing you to lean back comfortably.

Additionally, the window seats have curtains on the aisle side as well, and when closed, it feels like a private room, allowing me to relax without worrying about the surroundings.

The ceiling has a subtle projection of the twelve constellations and starry sky, creating a gentle light that naturally invites you to sleep. It was not just a transportation space, but a high-quality experience to be felt as a culmination of the journey.
Equipment that makes travel time comfortable

Each seat is equipped with a USB port and power outlet, which is a nice point for adults. Not only can you charge your smartphone, but you can also listen to music, watch videos, and spend your time as you wish. Since I had an important appointment the next morning, I prepared for a good sleep and boarded the vehicle.

I brought a hot eye mask and a non-woven mask, and after boarding, I immediately reclined and fell into a deep sleep.

The fact that the seats are independent is truly appreciated. I was able to prepare myself for a sound sleep.
Did you sleep well? The real sleeping comfort of an overnight bus

To be honest, I was a bit anxious about whether I could actually sleep properly on the overnight bus, but in reality, I was able to rest my body well. The seat reclined deeply, and there was plenty of space for my feet. With the curtains blocking my view, it felt as if I was in my own private space. The surrounding noises were kept to a minimum, and the time passed so quietly that it hardly felt like a long-distance journey. I woke up the moment I heard the announcement, "We are arriving in Yokohama." We arrived at Yokohama Station at 5:30, 15 minutes earlier than scheduled.
A travel style that doesn't waste time or money

This overnight bus ride cost 10,300 yen per person. If I were to stay at a hotel for one night and return by shinkansen, it would easily exceed 30,000 yen. Considering this, I feel that this mode of transportation, which allows me to minimize both accommodation and travel costs at once, is quite rational.

Of course, it’s not faster than the shinkansen. However, once you experience the efficiency of traveling while you sleep and the unexpectedly comfortable ride, I honestly thought, "I might want to ride it again." For adults who are sensitive to both time and cost, I feel that the evolution of such transportation options is one that cannot be overlooked.
The night bus expands the freedom of adults

I didn’t expect the night bus I happened to try to be this comfortable and practical. It was more than just a means of transportation; it was a cozy space to quietly spend time as a conclusion to the trip. I think what contributed to that feeling was the quietness inside the bus, the comfort of the facilities, and the fact that I woke up refreshed the next morning.
After playing, as a means to return home without any hassle, the night bus might actually be a surprisingly good option for anyone. I feel like I can continue to flexibly use it according to my plans and schedule.
