This year, the sustainable mobility life event "KARUIZAWA MOTOR GATHERING 2026" will come to Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza. It will be held over the two days from Saturday, September 5, 2026 to Sunday, September 6, 2026.

The theme is "Heritage to Future" - inheriting towards the future. As we stand at the 140th anniversary of the birth of the automobile, this theme emphasizes the gathering of cars as a culture. It is an event where you can enjoy the history of automobiles and the future they are moving towards all in one place.

At the venue, not only will there be displays and test drives of new vehicles, including various environmentally friendly vehicles, but also displays of vintage vehicles and lifestyle proposals through mobility (outdoors, pets, golf, etc.) are planned.

The theme is "Open Air Motoring." This year's competition will focus on open cars that have captivated people across generations. Eligible vehicles must have an open body (open car/convertible/barchetta/cabriolet/roadster/spider). If you own an open-body vehicle, why not apply?
*In principle, restrictions will be set as stated above, although there may be special exceptions granted at the discretion of the secretariat.
