GIANT has added the 2026 model to its standard cross bikes "Escape R Series" and "Gravier Series." In addition to a refresh of the frame color, new sizes have been added, and the range of compatible accessories has been expanded, which has further improved usability. I want to enjoy my cycling life!

There are two common changes across both series

The "Escape R" series, which has garnered much support for over 20 years, the sister model "Liv Escape R W" series designed for Japanese women, and the new standard model "Gravier" series, which is popular for its off-road capability and comfort due to the wider tires.

This summer, the 2026 models of a total of six types, including both V brake and disc brake versions, will be available. All six models feature a refreshed frame color and have enhanced usability with three updated points.

The common changes are that "the frame color has been updated" and "the saddle is compatible with the Uniclip system."

With the Uniclip system, it is now possible to attach compatible accessories such as tail lights and cable locks, allowing for a smarter ride.

Another change is the adoption of the KSA mount, which has been implemented in the "Escape R3," "Escape R3 W," and "Gravier." This allows the kickstand to be directly attached to the chainstay.

Now, I will introduce the characteristics of each series.

The newly adopted L size, which is also easy to ride for those over 180cm.

The 2026 model of the "Escape R" series features four models: "Escape R3," "Escape R3 W," "Escape R DISC," and "Escape R W DISC."

The standard of the same series is the "Escape R3," equipped with hydraulic brakes, which has been loved for over 20 years, and from that, "Escape R DISC" was born. The "Escape R W" series is customized for women, and those with a W in the product name are included.

Among the four models, the L size has been newly set for "Escape R3" and "Escape R DISC," targeting those over 180cm tall.
