【Volkswagen】 Drift Mode Equipped! Limited Edition "Golf R" in Black

for the hatchback model Golf's high-performance model "Golf R," and its station wagon model "Golf R Variant," limited editions equipped with exclusive items and special features in black color are being offered.

The "Golf R Black Edition," featuring lightweight black-finished "Warmenau" cast wheels and brake calipers, along with black color accents throughout the styling, is limited to 403 units. One could say that its fierce and sporty impression is further enhanced.

A specially designed large spoiler, which generates greater downforce, emphasizes the sporty appearance while improving driving stability and aerodynamic characteristics at high speeds. The rear end is equipped with an "Akrapovič" titanium exhaust system that produces a powerful sound. The driving profile feature, allowing drivers to choose their preferred driving mode, has newly added Drift Mode and Special Mode, which further highlight sporty driving. The interior features real carbon decorative panels, creating a racing atmosphere.

The station wagon type "Golf R Variant" includes the previously established Black Style package in Europe, as well as a limited edition "Golf R Variant Black Style" (limited to 214 units) equipped with normally optional features. It comes with lightweight black "Warmenau" cast wheels and black roof rails that tighten the overall exterior, alongside real carbon decorative panels that embellish the sporty interior. The rare presence of this sports wagon is even more pronounced.

In the Golf R Variant Advance, the optional premium sound system "Harman Kardon" and electric panoramic sliding roof are standard features. The high utility of a functional and comfortable wagon, along with the driving performance of a genuine sports wagon, is fully showcased.
