This function is a so-called collision damage mitigation brake, operating at speeds of approximately 10 to 80 km/h. It detects vehicles and pedestrians (pedestrians up to approximately 60 km/h) and, if it judges there is a possibility of a collision, it alerts the driver with an alarm sound and a display on the meter, engaging a light brake if the danger is deemed high, and applying a strong brake if the danger further increases.
