Recently, I’ve been enjoying simple BBQs on the weekends. That’s when I thought about how to elevate the grilling experience and became interested in the LOGOS rock salt plate. It doesn’t use charcoal or gas, nor is it a hot plate. As the name suggests, it is a plate for grilling meat on rock salt.
To be honest, I thought seasoning with “regular salt would be fine,” but I was somehow intrigued by the explanations about infrared rays, mineral effects, and the plate absorbing fat, so I decided to give it a try.

When I actually grilled with it, the flavor of the meat became more rounded

This time, I decided to try it with my personal favorite cut, the sirloin. It has a perfect balance of lean meat and fat, and its character changes depending on how it’s grilled, so I was also curious about its compatibility with the rock salt plate.

When you place the plate on the grill and heat it slowly, it gets really hot, more than it looks.

When I put a thicker cut of beef on top and grilled it... it was gently cooked through while developing a fragrant sear.

What surprised me was the flavor. Normally, the seasoning only adheres to where salt is sprinkled, but with this salt plate, a slightly even saltiness envelops the entire piece of meat, giving a rounded flavor impression.
After grilling, there's another fun twist

After grilling the meat, I lightly washed the plate (the scorch marks remained slightly), and placed a piece of sea bream on it.

Just leaving it for about 5 minutes resulted in a firm salting, tasting almost like it had been brined. However, when I tried to wash it again, I accidentally dropped it into the sink and it broke. Caution is required with impacts.

In the end, I put the finely crushed plate in the bath as a bath additive. It feels like my skin has become smooth...
Just grilling has turned into a slightly special time

Grilling meat is already fun enough with family. But just adding this plate changes the atmosphere a bit, making the mood feel different. It’s interesting how it sparks conversations like “Today feels a little special” or “This is interesting.”
While the taste and grilling method don't change drastically, there is definitely a feeling that the experience levels up. I recommend it as a "tool that elevates an ordinary holiday just a little."

Easy to enjoy, a slightly better tool

The LOGOS rock salt plate was a tool that made simple grilling a bit more enjoyable. Just place it on and grill. Even though it's that simple, it's quite an interesting discovery that it changes the flavor and the atmosphere of the conversation. It can be used without pressure and enriches holiday time just a little. I think anyone looking for such gear will surely get hooked.
