From "Grand Seiko," an organic-patterned sport watch inspired by the lion's mane flowing in the wind is set to be released in August. Featuring a hairline finish that highlights the metallic expression and crafted from Brilliant Hard Titanium, it offers an elevated sense of luxury.

The allure of the "Sport Collection Tokyo Lion Tentagraph"

Features a bold octagon inspired by the lion's claws, coupled with a depiction of a lion gripping firmly. The standout hairline finish of the metal emphasizes the sharpness of the claws and serves as an accent to the luxurious case form. It also utilizes a unique advanced material, "Brilliant Hard Titanium," which has about twice the hardness of stainless steel.

The push button with a stopwatch function has been updated to a robust form. It feels good to press and ensures reliable operation.

The dial features an organic pattern that pays homage to the lion's mane waving in the wind. The three sub-dials at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock are equipped with separate parts, showcasing a variety of expressions. The bowl-shaped sub-dials are designed so that the distance between the hands and the scale is close, making it easy to read measurement results.

The multifaceted index representing the lion's sharp claws emits a majestic sparkle thanks to diamond cutting. Lumibrite is filled in the recessed inside, enhancing visibility in the dark.

Comfortable to wear, subtly cheerful rubber strap

The belt section adopts a newly developed rubber strap with over twice the tensile strength of a silicone strap. Its smooth texture and the charming protrusions resembling the lion's paw pads fit comfortably on the wrist. The gently curved case back, combined with an inwardly wrapped buckle and rubber strap, provides an exquisite wearing experience.

Equipped with an automatic chronograph movement "Tentagraph"

The "Tentagraph" features stable accuracy with 10 vibrations per second and offers a long power reserve of about 72 hours even when the chronograph is running. The stopwatch mechanism, unique to Grand Seiko, guarantees “accurate measurement & operability, and durability,” making it one of a kind.

The vertical clutch suppresses pointer misalignment and jumping, enhancing measurement accuracy, while the pillar wheel accurately controls the operation of the stopwatch. A unique three-pronged hammer integrated into the movement provides a pleasant clicking sensation during reset, quickly returning the chronograph hand to the zero position.
