SHIPS has released a special order item in collaboration with Okuyama Meriyasu. Available in two types: a short-sleeve crew neck sweater and a cardigan, both made with a blend of shrink-resistant wool yarn and extra-long cotton. Easy-care material that can be hand-washed

In addition to developing the popular brand BATONER, Okuyama Meriyasu is also engaged in some OEM business. The request from Ships to the company was for two types of short-sleeved crew neck sweaters and cardigans made using a blend of shrink-resistant wool yarn and extra-long cotton.

Both types feature a design characterized by the flow of stitches from a classic saddle shoulder and the combination of rib patterns. The techniques used, such as yarn handling, multi-strand knitting, a tightly packed surface feel due to high gauge, and a dense rib expression, are skills that only Okuyama Meriyasu can achieve.

By blending shrink-resistant wool yarn and extra-long cotton, these garments can also be hand-washed. They seem suitable for heavy use. Both styles are available in three colors: light gray, camel, and navy, evoking a sense of autumn.
