【3COINS】Incredibly bright for nighttime dog walks! Tried out the "Walking Light" that shines in the dark
My black-haired dog often has close calls during nighttime walks. Therefore, I decided to try the "Walking Light" from 3COINS. With a length of about 18.5 cm, I bought it hoping it would illuminate my dog's entire body.
It's better to have a light for my inconspicuous dog on nighttime walks
No matter how quietly we talk, our beloved dog always reacts to the word "walk." He shows such a joyful expression while out for a walk that we often end up walking until it gets dark at dusk. With sunset times getting earlier, there are times when it's pitch black by the time we get home.
Since safety is a concern, I have attached a light to the harness, but at certain angles, the light can be hard to see.

That’s why I got the "walk light" from Three Coins. It measures about 18.5 cm long, which is a size incomparable to the lights I've used before. It is designed to be attached to a leash or collar. The light has two modes: steady and flashing.

The light has fasteners on both sides; one side is loop-shaped, and the other side has Velcro.
Since it is not possible to fix the position, if you want to attach it to the top, you need to be creative, such as tying a simple knot; however, this time I wanted to illuminate my beloved dog, so I used it in its original state.
I turned on the "Walking Light" and started the walk.
I immediately turned on the "Walking Light" and tried to resume the walk. The button is large, so turning it on is smooth even while my dog is moving around.
The weight of the "Walking Light" is 41g. On the official 3COINS website, there were reviews stating it is "a bit heavy," but perhaps because it was worn on the leash, my dog (Chihuahua) didn't seem to mind it at all. Later, when I attached it directly to the harness, it seemed to feel uncomfortable and stopped several times. As expected, it seems better to attach it to the leash for small dogs.
What I'm concerned about is the brightness of the "Walking Light." The image above shows the "DOKEEP Ultra Mini LED Light" that I have been using turned on. It is bright enough, but since it only illuminates part of my dog, it could only convey "the dog is here."
By the way, the weight of the "DOKEEP Ultra Mini LED Light" is about 11g.

And the image above shows the "Walking Light" from 3COINS in an illuminated state. While it has a strong output, its length helps illuminate my dog's entire body.
It might be a little hard to see in the photo, but in the dark, my dog's outline is clearly visible and stands out even from a distance. With this, any driver should be able to recognize my dog's presence.

Visibility in poor conditions & Peace of mind
When switched to flashing mode, it offers even more visibility, making it easier to stand out in dark grass and significantly increasing my peace of mind during nighttime walks. Since it's battery-operated, if I keep a spare in my walking bag, I won't have to panic in case of an unexpected battery failure and can easily address it on the spot. I highly recommend this.
