【Reclaim Your Time】The Joy of Day Camping Free from Hassles
I go on a solo day trip camping (day camp). I compactly organize the gear I take with me. With non-alcoholic drinks and convenient lightweight gear, I can enjoy blissful moments.
Casually going with non-alcohol for a day camp is the vibe right now

to a nearby campsite on a holiday. I've been into easily enjoyable day camping for about a year now. Rather than preparing from Friday night and spending the weekend camping, the vibe right now is to casually go during a weekday break and have fun.

For day camps by car, I can't drink alcohol. At first, I was disappointed thinking I couldn't drink at camp... but the recent non-alcoholic beverages are top-notch! What I'm especially into is the "Strongly Squeezed Lemon Sour Non-Alcoholic."

The lemon is quite pronounced, and the taste is very close to alcoholic lemon sour. It's perfect for the hot summer temperatures. I chilled it in a cooler packed with ice packs, so it's very cold and just right to drink. I was thinking how happy I was, and I quickly finished one can. I have to take out another one from the cooler!

For day camping, I want to minimize my gear as much as possible. Therefore, I carefully select the equipment I bring. One item that I never fail to take with me on my recent day camps is Captain Stag's "Compact Plate" (1100 yen). Its compact size of 155×88×15mm makes it ideal for a solo day camp where I just want to grill a little.
Underneath that is Daiso's "Pocket Stove" (300 yen). Its compact size fits perfectly in a 1-cup mess tin.

The heat source I use is a solid fuel commonly seen in restaurants. It doesn't require any adjustment to the heat level and provides stable cooking power. I've come to love it since it became easily available at places like Daiso. Its small and lightweight size makes it convenient for transport.

This time, I bought some grilled beef tongue from a nearby supermarket. Since I'm having it as a snack, this amount (70g) is just right.
Day camping, free from the hassle of setting up and tearing down, is enjoyable.

Without delay, I took a bite. Indeed, enjoying grilled meat in nature provides an unparalleled deliciousness. Plus, it pairs incredibly well with "Koi Shibori Lemon Sour Non-Alcoholic"! I only bought one type of meat thinking it was just a snack... but I might have needed about three types.

Minimizing the gear used makes cleanup a breeze. I was able to spend a blissful moment as if I were going to an izakaya. It was so much fun that I decided to keep essential gear in my car so I can quickly go for a day camp from now on. Before the full-fledged summer arrives, I want to go again.
