【Satellite Communication Communicator】Connects even outside the network! Also supports sending and receiving photos & voice messages

The latest model from Garmin's satellite communication device "inReach" series will be released on December 17. It has become possible to send photos and voice messages, making communication easier. If you want to stay connected with friends even outdoors, this is a must-see!

The battery lasts up to 350 hours

As the latest model in Garmin's satellite communicator "inReach" series,
"inReach Mini 3 Plus" features an evolved high-resolution color touchscreen display, along with a dual interface equipped with six physical buttons, significantly improving visibility and operability. It seems capable of being used even while wearing thick gloves, making it suitable for extreme cold environments.
The highlight of the latest model is the ability to send and receive photos and voice messages, made possible through the dedicated app "Garmin Messenger App." Voice messages can be recorded for up to 30 seconds. Since the microphone and speaker are built-in, recording and playback can be done on the spot, which is a plus.
Additionally, text messages have been significantly increased from the previous 160 bytes to a maximum of 1600 bytes (533 characters in Japanese). It might be nice to share emotional moments with teammates through long messages.
Along with the functionality updates, the battery performance has also been enhanced. In tracking mode at 10-minute intervals, it operates for about 350 hours, providing peace of mind during long-term fieldwork or training.

Supports multi-GNSS and global satellite networks

Other features remain the same, supporting multi-band GNSS with GPS + Galileo + Michibiki (supplementary signals) + BeiDou, and the TracBack (return to starting point) function is also available.
