[Winter car sleeping] Just like a futon at home!? What are the tricks behind the “envelope-style sleeping bag” that’s spacious yet warm?

Winter camping and car sleeping surrounded by crisp, clear air. Even on nights like that, the winter sleeping bag “FX-403” lets you stretch out your arms and legs like you’re in your own bed at home and sleep soundly until morning. We recommend this luxurious winter sleeping experience, combining overwhelming fluffiness with a relaxed feel.

The openness that only a envelope-style sleeping bag can offer, letting you stretch out your legs and turn over in your sleep

When it comes to winter sleeping bags for cold weather, you might imagine a “mummy type.” Mummy-type bags fit snugly to your body like a cocoon, preventing body heat from escaping, and offer excellent warmth. On the other hand, some people find them restrictive and cramped because it can be hard to move around in them.

By contrast, the “Bears Rock -15°C envelope-style sleeping bag” uses a square “envelope type,” just like the futon at home. It offers enough room to turn over freely inside, so you can stretch out your legs, lie on your side, and sleep in whatever position feels most comfortable. This spacious, open feeling gently lifts the quality of sleep on nights spent outdoors.

Plump, voluminous cushioning that gently stays close to your body

Another reason it stays warm is its rich, voluminous interior. When you slip inside, the thick, fluffy filling fits softly along the contours of your body, filling in gaps with gentle support. Wrapped in a thick comforter that holds plenty of air, its reassuring warmth lasts steadily until morning.

Comfort you’ll want to use at home, not just for camping

This soft, cozy sleeping experience is loved far beyond the outdoors.

In fact, some people have continued using it at home during the winter as a “bedding replacement.” Even in a chilly room where the temperature drops to around 7°C, they were able to sleep soundly without worrying about the cold, and unlike a mummy type, the freedom to move their legs around has been especially appreciated. Even on weekends with no camping plans, it fits naturally into everyday life as a nap blanket in the living room or a simple cold-weather item.

A chic new color, “Orion Navy,” joins the lineup

This winter, the functional sleeping bag gets a new color: “Orion Navy,” a deep, calm shade like the night sky. The color scheme, accented with soft beige, gives tents and car interiors a chic, refined look and subtly elevates a mature outdoor style.

Even if it’s sharply cold outside the tent, once you get inside the sleeping bag, you’ll quickly feel warm and cozy. Just having that sense of reassurance can make winter outdoor adventures, which can feel a little intimidating, seem a bit more enjoyable.
