According to product designer Fumie Shibata, "What I aimed for was a suitcase that feels like a bag that has been used for a long time. Whether placed in the hotel lobby or sitting next to the train window, I wanted it to blend naturally into the landscape of the journey, giving a sense of comfort in having it always nearby."
