【Midnight Service Area】An exploration record at 2 AM! Napping at "Kamisato SA (downward)" on the Kanetsu Expressway

Setting off in the middle of the night and stopping by a service area for a break is something special. The night air and the quiet parking lot evoke a sense of travel. This time, I stopped by Kamisato SA (downward) on the Kanetsu Expressway.

At 2 AM, I decided to visit "Kamisato SA" on the Kanetsu Expressway

The place I visited is "Kamisato SA (downward)", which has a parking lot accommodating 90 large vehicles and 195 small ones, and enjoys high popularity even on the downward lane of the Kanetsu Expressway. It's the only place along the Kanetsu Highway that has a Starbucks, along with Miyoshi SA.

The light of this service area found in the middle of the night is so comforting.

I explored inside the facility and was amazed by the abundance of the food court. It seems they offer grills using ingredients from Saitama Prefecture, as well as morning meals that are appreciated in the morning. It's a menu that delights workers and tourists alike.

The 24-hour food court has plenty of seats and is bright, creating an atmosphere that doesn't feel like it's the middle of the night. The menu includes local specialties such as Kamisato Ramen, Waraji Katsudon, and Meat Juice Udon. Even at this hour, there were a few customers present.

In addition to the food court, there was a bakery that was closed, but many fruit sandwiches were lined up. It seems that the Katsusand which was sold out can also be purchased at the 24-hour shop corner.

There was a gachapon as is common in service areas, and they also had a celebrity gachapon at 1000 yen per try, which seems to offer luxurious prizes, including popular game machines. The amusement facilities are also well-equipped.

After finishing up some photos, I started to head back to the car, and despite it being a weekday night, I could see several cars entering the area. Since they provide comprehensive services 24 hours a day, it seems people indeed gather here.
