I discovered a building that is marked as my parent's house! It seems that this place is a restaurant where you can savor wild game dishes. There was an unmanned vending machine placed in front of the store, so I took the opportunity to take out an interesting product while on a drive.

The other day, while driving, the large word "family home" caught my eye. Moreover, it is directly painted on the wall of the house. "Is it someone’s family home?" "Was it painted as a prank?" Such questions lingered in my mind, and I couldn't stop thinking about it the next day and the day after, so I decided to stop by today.

It seems they even have an official Instagram, so I checked it out. After doing some research, it appeared there was no parking available, so I parked in a nearby coin parking lot.

As I walked towards it, the exterior, more interesting than what I saw from inside the car, emanated a definite presence within me. As the sign boldly states "Inoshika," it seems to be a shop that handles game meat.

When I reached the front of the store, I found an unattended vending machine. I stopped by during the weekday lunch hour. The store's hours are from 14:00 to 21:30, but this unattended vending machine can be used from 11:00 to 22:00. Both the store and the vending machine are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Perhaps this unique phrase for the alcohol disinfectant is a remnant from that time.

Let's check the refrigerator inside the unmanned vending machine. On the top shelf was the seemingly unshakable popular No. 1, "Wild Boar and Deer Curry" (500 yen). It's said to be simmered for two days, which sounds very appealing, but it doesn't come with rice... On the lower shelf, the "Wild Boar Spicy Rice" (500 yen) does come with rice, making it seem just right for lunch!

Further down, there was also "Snack Deer Jerky" (1000 yen) for dogs! This seems like something my dogs, who are home alone, would love.

It's not a vending machine, but an unmanned sales machine. It seems you put the money into a slot. It was particularly difficult to get bills in, but I folded them small and managed to put them in.

Cutlery such as bags and spoons are also provided. Many convenience stores have a pay-per-use system, but this one is free. Is this the kindness of my parents' home?

The flavorful authentic game meat is delicious! This price might be too cheap

When I got home and opened the lid of the "Spicy Wild Boar Rice"… it has a lovely aroma of spices. After warming it up in the microwave and taking a bite, it is surprisingly authentic! Especially the curry has a deep flavor, and the umami of the wild boar meat is clearly noticeable. Of course, there is no unpleasant smell at all. It is also packed with plenty of vegetables, and cloud ear mushrooms are included as a side dish. Considering all this, 500 yen is just way too cheap. I’m definitely going to repeat this.

After the owner finished their meal, I decided to give treats to my well-behaved dogs who had been waiting patiently. The moment I cut the sealed bag, my dogs gathered around, having caught the scent. When I cut it into small pieces to make it easier to eat, they devoured it in no time! Their enthusiasm was different from their usual snacks.

I also took a bite, and the umami punch is amazing! Of course, since it's made for dogs, it isn’t seasoned, but it’s more than delicious enough.

I used to have a dislike for game dishes because of their unique smell, but my parents' cooking has no such odor and offers incredible deliciousness. This time I purchased it from an unmanned vending machine, but next time I'd like to try it in the store.
