[Nissan] Equipped with a new third-generation e-POWER! Part of the design of the "Elgrand" has been revealed
The design of Nissan’s new "Elgrand" has been partially unveiled. It is included in the lineup of four vehicles announced by the newly restructured Nissan. It is equipped with the newly developed third-generation e-POWER, achieving significant improvements in quietness and fuel efficiency.
As the original high-class minivan, it has been creating a new era
The "Elgrand," which debuted in 1997 as the original high-class minivan, has established an interior like that of first-class. Its impressive exterior, featuring large bumpers, and superior driving performance were also attractive points.

The third-generation model released in 2010 adopted the world's first comfortable captain seats, and the ottoman that can be used by three seats at the same time and the captain seats became topics of conversation. Furthermore, as a safety feature, it was equipped with the world's first moving object detection function, proving its high level of technological capability.
The third generation e-POWER is gaining attention under the new management of Nissan.
With the announcement from Nissan under its new structure, it has garnered attention in various ways. The focus is naturally on the third-generation e-POWER, which reportedly improves fuel efficiency at high speeds by up to 15% compared to previous models.

By adopting a dedicated 1.5-liter engine and implementing a 5-in-1 modularization of five components, weight reduction has been achieved, and both quietness and fuel efficiency have improved, suggesting that benefits can be expected more than ever before.
Much remains shrouded in mystery, but expectations are rising.

The fourth-generation model, which has undergone a full model change for the first time in 16 years, is largely wrapped in mystery with only a glimpse of the front grille and rear visible.

The front grille gives the impression similar to the newly announced "Leaf," while the rear with its single-line lights exudes a commanding presence, finishing it to be fitting for a luxury minivan. At this point, I can't wait to see the full picture and I'm curious about the interior as well. Let's eagerly await further updates.
