On September 23, 2026, Bentley unveiled the "Torkal" in London, marking the world debut. It is the fourth model line following the Continental GT, Flying Spur, and Bentayga, and it is the brand's first fully electric vehicle. The lineup consists of two models: the standard model and the "Torkal S." The S version delivers a maximum output of 888 PS and a maximum torque of 1350 Nm during launch control activation, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. It is the most powerful production model in Bentley's history.

What is noteworthy is that it does not simply pursue speed. While boasting overwhelming acceleration performance, it also emphasizes a balance with the comfort for the occupants. Inspired by the iconic V8 engine sound of Bentley, musicians have created sounds that are infused into the EV. The sound changes in response to the accelerator operation, becoming even more pronounced in Sport mode, while it can also be turned off when a quieter drive is desired.

It is surprising that even the sound of the turn signals has been meticulously crafted. At Bentley's interior workshop, the sound of a hammer striking leather has been recorded. If there is no engine sound, it's not just about filling it with electronic sounds. There is passion in the idea of creating a connection with the car through sounds born from human hands.

Wrapped in merino wool and walnut

The interior is filled with unique details that only Bentley can offer. Developed in collaboration with the British heritage textile manufacturer "Fox Brothers," the fabric is 100% Merino wool, strong enough to withstand automotive use. It has a soft touch and breathability, bringing a warmth to the cabin that is distinct from leather.

Furthermore, "Ombre Walnut by Mulliner" layers carefully selected walnut wood up to 1,000 layers and slices them to less than 1mm. The expression that transitions from light to dark tones offers a design that evokes a sense of future luxury in a way that is different from a large display.

The "Digital Detox" in Comfort mode reduces the information displayed, creating an environment where attention can be directed to conversation and scenery instead of the screen. It not only increases convenient digital features but also appeals to the idea of "deliberately not showing."
