Yamaha Motor has released a new color for the super sports model "YZF-R9 ABS," which features a water-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, inline 3-cylinder, 888cm³ engine mounted on a lightweight aluminum frame, on May 15. Additionally, a limited edition "70th Anniversary Edition" to commemorate the company's 70th anniversary will also be released, limited to 200 units.

The new color added to the supersport "YZF-R9 ABS" is blue, which will be shared across the 2026 model YZF-R series. The color scheme emphasizes the Yamaha Racing image, with cyan lines placed on the body side.

The accents arranged at the bottom of the model logo further highlight the sharp design. The natural blend of the color scheme, which suits both the tension of the circuit and the excitement of daily life, seems to symbolize the sporty spirit of the YZF-R9.
