【Year-end Major Cleaning】Kärcher's Handy Air high-pressure washer does not require a power cord or hose! I tried using it for window cleaning
The Kärcher "OC Handy Compact CB," which sold out in no time through crowdfunding. Will using a high-pressure washer that can be held with one hand make the windows clean?
It can be handled with one hand and is easy to clean up afterward: the Kärcher Handy Air
What I got on Amazon for the year-end cleaning is Kärcher's "OC Handy Compact CB" (commonly known as "Handy Air"). It's a compact body that can be held with one hand, a cordless high-pressure washer with Kärcher's unique jet power.
I had used a different model of Kärcher's high-pressure washer before, but the preparation and cleanup were cumbersome, so I actually stopped using it most of the time.
With this Handy Air, there is of course no power cord, and it's freestyle without needing a faucet hose! I thought it might be easy to clean up afterward and decided to buy it.

For preparation, simply charge the main unit in advance with USB-C and connect a 2L PET bottle with the bottle adapter. I thought it might be heavy due to the weight of the PET bottle... but the Handy Air itself is quite lightweight at 0.8 kg, so it could be handled with one hand.
When I tried using it for window cleaning, it became clean easily.
The part I struggle with the most when it comes to the big cleaning is window cleaning. It's hard to reach, surprisingly labor-intensive, and above all, during this time of year, my hands get so cold that it's tough. The windows in our house have been untouched for about six months, so I really want to do something about it.
So, I tried spraying Handy Air.
The maximum allowable pressure for Handy Air is 1.5MPa. When I actually sprayed it, it was more powerful than the numbers suggest, and if you're too close to the window, water splashes come back at you with force, so the trick is to keep a bit of distance and aim carefully.
The noise level isn't too loud, so during the day, it shouldn't bother the neighbors.

After spraying, I just wiped it down with a glass wiper; how much of the stubborn dirt has come off?
The lower part of the window, which had little damage from water stains, is sparkling clean! It's my first time experiencing such a significant improvement with such an easy task.
However, there were some water stains that Handy Air alone couldn't remove.

Stubborn water stains on glass windows are not easy to remove, but the range of usefulness is wide.
Stubborn water stains were wiped off afterwards with glass cleaner and a cloth, but the results didn’t change much. It seems that we have no choice but to rely on the power of abrasives for water stains.
However, I was able to finish cleaning the windows surprisingly easily and enjoyably, which ignited my cleaning desire, leading me to think, "Which window should I clean next?" Since I was able to work without getting my hands wet till the end, it’s comfortable even during the cold winter months.

By the way, even after cleaning two windows, there was still some water left in the pet bottle. Of course, the battery also still seems to have plenty of charge left. With this stamina, it looks like I could wash down the screens and bicycle all at once while cleaning the windows. From now on, I will fully charge it and keep it on standby at the entrance for whenever I feel like using it.
It can also be used for cleaning camping gear and the undercarriage of cars – including tires.
The handy air cleaner is not only useful for cleaning windows but also for washing off muddy camping gear and tires after the rain. By selecting a cleaning pattern according to the type and level of dirt, you can efficiently get rid of grime.
The size that can be held with one hand is convenient, and it's recommended to keep it in the car. After playing near the camp or the sea, it's quite refreshing to clean up right after playing before heading home.
