V Points now support mobile orders! Daily life gets smarter

Sumitomo Mitsui Card started offering 7-20% V Point rewards for mobile order payments at selected restaurants on September 16. The list of eligible popular chains has expanded.

The participating restaurants are McDonald's, Mos Burger (including Mos Burger & Café), Kentucky Fried Chicken, Yoshinoya, Sukiya, and Starbucks. Now you can earn points for touch payments without having to stand in line.
※ Mos Burger and Kentucky Fried Chicken are eligible for their own delivery services.
※ Starbucks is only eligible for Apple Pay payments; card charges are not included.

At the V Point roundtable held on the 19th, discussions with time-saving enthusiast Kuu-chan included topics like “enjoying point activities without stress, just like brushing your teeth,” and it was mentioned that “changes are happening from a bulky wallet to a slim wallet” through smartphone usage.

When using a card at participating stores, you will earn 7-20% V Points for every 200 yen (including tax) spent, including standard points.

The breakdown of the reward rate is:
・Payments at participating stores (Visa/Mastercard touch payments, mobile orders) → Up to 7%
・Family Points: Registering family members within two degrees of kinship will earn +1%/person (up to 5%)
・V Point Up Program: Increase up to 20% based on usage

Points to note that are not eligible for cashback

After December 1, 2025, any payment methods other than touch payments (iD, card insertion, magnetic transactions, etc.) will not be eligible for cashback. Also, the maximum 20% cashback applies only if all conditions are met.
