[Cold Weather] Never take them off for car washing or mountaineering! Put on these touch-panel-compatible “breathable waterproof gloves”

You don’t want to keep taking off your gloves while washing your car or shoveling snow in winter. That’s why you should check out the smartphone-compatible model from “TEMRES,” a brand loved by climbers. It offers waterproofing and warmth, and should make work on cold days more comfortable.

Cold fingers every time you take off your winter gloves

The hard part about washing your car in winter is touching cold water. Even if you’re wearing insulated gloves, taking them off every time you use your smartphone means your warmed fingertips will quickly get cold again. You’d ideally want to avoid taking off and putting on wet gloves, right? Showa Glove’s “TEMRES e-Touch” is an insulated glove that combines waterproofing and warmth, while still letting you operate your smartphone without taking it off.

An evolution of a waterproof glove loved by climbers

“TEMRES” is originally a breathable waterproof glove that makes use of work-glove technology. Its ability to keep water out while releasing moisture from inside has earned it praise, and it’s also used for mountaineering and backcountry skiing.

Among the TEMRES winter glove series, the one I want to introduce this time is the touch-panel-compatible “TEMRES e-Touch.” The big appeal is that you don’t have to remove your gloves when using a smartphone or tablet. It seems useful in a variety of situations, such as checking messages while shoveling snow or operating your smartphone while washing your car.

Waterproof, warm, and lightweight!

What stands out here is its warmth, light weight, and waterproof performance. The seamless construction with no stitching and the polyurethane coating firmly block snow and water from getting in. At the same time, it lets moisture escape from inside, so even if you work up a sweat while shoveling snow, the inside of the glove is less likely to become damp. The inside features a soft brushed lining that helps keep your hands warm even on chilly mornings. It’s also about 20% lighter than previous models, which is worth noting. The design is meant to reduce hand fatigue even during long periods of use.

Stay comfortable through winter tasks with just one pair of gloves

These gloves are great for winter outdoor work, from shoveling snow to washing your car and enjoying winter sports. In addition to waterproofing and warmth, the “TEMRES e-Touch” also lets you use your smartphone. With these, you’ll likely need to take your gloves off less often while working. Why not rethink your hand gear for winter?
