【Retro】Fulfilling the needs of mountain lovers! The nostalgic "woven hat" has made a comeback in the Reiwa era.

A compact and foldable woven hat for summer hikers that meets their needs in the Reiwa era. Not only does it function to comfortably block sunlight and heat, but its somewhat nostalgic design also resonates.

Harnessing both sunlight and wind, the modern woven hat

The "Wind Hat" is a sunshade hat based on traditional Japanese woven hats. Updated in material and function to suit modern mountaineering and hiking. The silhouette expands like a bowl, creating a firm shade around the head and face to protect against direct sunlight.

It features a space inside that allows wind to pass through easily, reducing heat accumulation. Even during long activities in the summer along ridgelines or in foothills, it diverts sunlight while allowing trapped heat and sweat to escape. With a nostalgic appearance, its functionality is thoroughly modern. The good old woven hat is revived in the Reiwa era.

Water-repellent cover × PP core material for a reassuring body

The outer cover is made from water-repellent polyester OX fabric, designed to repel some amount of sudden rain and water droplets falling from trees. Although it is not a complete rain hat, it effectively protects the head under the changing weather conditions of the mountains.

The internal base uses a 1mm thick PP sheet. It is lightweight yet resistant to deformation, providing protection for the head as a simple helmet. This offers an added sense of security compared to a regular hat, particularly in scenarios where branches might hit the head while bushwhacking or when there's a concern about sudden falls.

The mesh support and cooler pocket keep the area around the head cool

The support section that cradles the head uses breathable polyester mesh. It effectively reduces the surface area in contact with the head while allowing airflow through its structure.

Additionally, the support includes a pocket for storing a cooler pack. By placing a cooler pack inside, gentle coolness can be enjoyed from the top of the head.

Compact storage with a 3-part structure. Convenient for mountain trips while using trains.

When folded, the size is about 26×30cm, and its thickness is around 3-4cm. The point is that it does not take up much space when inserted into a backpack or placed in a side pocket during transit. You can store the hat while commuting and flexibly "wear the hat when the sun gets strong."
