I had trouble finding a place for my unfinished coffee during the bus ride to the airport for my homecoming, so I tried using the 3COINS carry case drink holder. Here’s a report on the usability and points to note that I felt before and after the move.

On the morning heading to the airport, do you have trouble handling coffee?

The morning before heading to the airport is particularly restless, and I often buy coffee at the station or convenience store to wake myself up. However, what I struggle with every time is handling that coffee. There's not enough time to finish drinking it, yet throwing it away feels wasteful.

So, I decided to try the "Carry Case Drink Holder" from 3COINS. I thought it would be useful when I couldn't finish the coffee I bought on the way to my trip and had to move with the leftover. But how practical is it, really?

Before moving, a moment to catch my breath

Before getting on the bus to the airport from my nearest station, I had a little time. I immediately purchased coffee at the convenience store here. It’s not just to wake myself up, but also to drink coffee and calm my nerves before the trip.

There wasn't enough time to finish the coffee, and half of it remained. I pull my carry case and line up for the bus. At that moment, since one hand is occupied, I think, "It would be nice if I could put the coffee somewhere."

When I inserted the remaining coffee, the drink became secured to the carry case. Since it moves together with the carry case, it was more stable than I expected.

With both hands free, it's easier to operate my smartphone and check my surroundings. Just not having to think about "how to carry the coffee" while on the move made me feel more relaxed.

I was a bit worried before actually using the paper cup for coffee. Even though it has a lid, if there's a lot of liquid, won't it spill when jostled?

After actually trying it out, I found that when the carry case is kept upright, it wasn't a concern. Rather, since it's secured in the carry case, it feels more stable against unexpected movements compared to holding it in hand.

Of course, when you tilt the carry case and pull it along, the coffee will tilt as well. It's not that it won't spill at all during any action; I think it's more accurate to imagine it as a "temporary storage" while you're pulling it upright.

The back pocket is convenient for short trips

There's also a small pocket for accessories on the back of the drink holder. This time, I temporarily placed my smartphone in it. Being able to temporarily group items that I frequently take in and out made things a bit smoother while waiting for the bus or just before boarding.

It seems just right to use it as a "temporary spot" rather than for long-term storage.

A time can be created without worrying about drinks

I was waiting for the bus without holding my coffee in my hand, as it was in the drink holder of my carry-on suitcase, but I finished my coffee just before getting on the bus.

During that time, while checking the time on my smartphone and observing my surroundings, I felt I didn't have to worry about where to put my drink, and there seemed to be fewer moments where I thought my coffee was in the way.

I believe this drink holder is more about being able to place a drink down without worrying during the waiting time rather than transporting a drink. Just that made me feel much more relaxed during the time before and after moving.

Having my hands free increased the time I could be unthoughtful

On my way to the airport, being able to let go of the coffee I couldn't finish increased the time I could spend without any thoughts. During busy and crowded travel periods, one might easily feel that difference.
