The new model comes in a lineup of two types: PHEV and HEV. The PHEV adopts a newly developed plug-in hybrid system that combines a large-capacity drive battery with compatibility for high-output chargers, based on the latest 6th generation hybrid system. The HEV improves motor output through enhancements in the transaxle, power control unit, and battery. It achieves a seamless acceleration feel with a light take-off and direct drive power response.
