【New Model】Royal Enfield "Hunter 350", equipped with new features priced under 600,000 yen
Royal Enfield is set to begin accepting orders for the "Hunter 350" 2025 model starting August 1. It includes a wealth of new elements, such as the first adoption of an assist & slipper clutch. The price setting of under 600,000 yen is also noteworthy!
The popular neo-classic bike with cumulative sales exceeding 500,000 units

"Hunter 350" was released in India in 2022 and made its first appearance in Japan in 2023, becoming a best-selling model that surpassed 500,000 cumulative sales as of April 2025. Its easy handling, due to a short wheelbase and compact frame, along with its neo-classic design, are attractive features.
In terms of riding, it is equipped with a 349cc air-cooled single-cylinder OHC engine, the J series engine, which allows for a refreshing ride through urban and suburban areas.
The review of the riding position ensures comfortable long-distance touring.

The new "Hunter 350" has improved the riding position with an increase in minimum ground clearance, enhancement of seat comfort, and the adoption of the latest Showa-made suspension. Additionally, changes based on ergonomics have been implemented for the grip, seat, and foot pegs, making the riding experience considerably more comfortable.

The standout assist and slipper clutch, newly adopted as the first for the Royal Enfield's 350cc class, has introduced the top brand for motorcycle clutches in Japan, F.C.C. Not only has the clutch lever operation become overwhelmingly lighter, but it has also reduced back torque from abrupt engine braking, making the vehicle more stable during deceleration.
New features are plentiful, including the addition of a simple navigation system.

In terms of other equipment and functions, the adoption of LED headlights, smartphone-connected simple navigation - tripper, and the change of USB charging port to Type C has made it more convenient.

The design features three new colors and graphics inspired by the street. There is Rio White, which imagines the white sands of Rio, London Red, which reflects the red brick alleys of London, and Tokyo Black, inspired by the black asphalt of Tokyo.

The colors inherited from the conventional model are Dapper Gray and Level Blue, offering a total of five colors. The three colors Tokyo Black, London Red, and Level Blue are set at a price that is 9,900 yen higher than the other colors due to their duo-tone design.
Even so, the fact that the 350cc class is priced below 600,000 yen is astonishing. Given the ongoing price increases, this will certainly be quite shocking.
