Kawasaki "Versys 650" new color! Added voice commands & navigation function for 1,166,000 yen

Kawasaki's middle-class adventure "Versys 650" 2026 model will be released on September 27. In addition to changes in color and graphics, new features have been added via a smartphone app. Let's take a look at the changes that have caught our attention.

With good foot placement, it is easy to handle from city riding to touring

The multi-purpose model "Versys 650" was introduced domestically in 2023. Equipped with a 649cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine that excels in low to mid-range torque, it offers the user-friendliness characteristic of the middle class, making it ideal for both city commuting and long touring. It is a reliable partner in any stage.

In terms of functionality, it features Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) for stable riding on various road surfaces, an adjustable windscreen, a TFT color LCD instrument panel with smartphone connectivity, LED headlights, and traction control. It provides enjoyment in handling in any riding situation.

With an upright riding position, it is recommended for beginner riders due to its good foot placement.

The 2026 model adopts a metallic color.

This major update features the new color of Metallic Deep Blue × Metallic Spark Black. The previously available Lime Green has been completely removed, marking the introduction of a new appeal.

Additionally, in line with the 2026 model, the app has newly added voice commands and navigation functions. While these two features will require a paid license, they can be used free of charge for one year after purchasing a new vehicle.
