Kawasaki will launch the 2026 models of the large naked "Z900" and "Z900 SE" on July 15. The "Z900" now features the new Sugomi design. The "Z900 SE," which appeared two months ago, has changes in color and graphics.
The design that embodies the “awesome” of the Z900

When you think of the “Z900,” the RS model is popular and often referred to in an unflattering way as the “lesser model,” but this is the original. It features a 948cc parallel four-cylinder engine mounted on a lightweight frame, pursuing thrilling power and handling, while also aiming for smooth response without compromise. Additionally, its high-quality suspension and brakes provide nimble handling, and the high-grip tires enhance cornering performance, making it suitable for street riding.

The exterior adopts a refined Sugomi design. The sharp and edgy styling effectively combines with metallic parts to create a portrayal of the sharp Sugomi performance hidden within. The characteristic features shared among the Z series, such as the “low stance,” “low-positioned head,” and “raised tail,” have been inherited, forming an avant-garde body shape and dynamic crouching form.
The engine and chassis are based on the concept of “exciting & rider-friendly.” It adopts high-quality suspension and brakes, achieving nimble handling.
The engine is equipped with an electronic throttle valve and IMU, providing sharp throttle response and enabling riding support technologies such as KQS and electric cruise control. Additionally, it features turn-by-turn navigation integrated with a smartphone app, enhancing touring performance and convenience.

The Z900 SE features a matte finish

Unlike the standard model, it is equipped with Brembo brake components and Öhlins rear suspension, as well as a seat characterized by hand-stitched-style stitching, and a standard USB Type-C power source located inside the front cowl. The 2025 model will be released in April, featuring the Sugomi design.

The new colors are Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray × Metallic Matte Carbon Gray, in a matte finish.
