【Yamaha New Model】A significant overhaul since the first generation! The "Tricity 155/125" with SUV design.

Yamaha has released the 2026 model of the "Tricity 155/125 ABS." In addition to a design refresh, several significant updates have been implemented, such as the adoption of a TFT display capable of navigation display and a USB port. Check out the changes!

The TFT display shows information from the app

The 2026 model "TRICITY155/125", which features a significant refresh of its exterior styling for the first time since the original "TRICITY125", has a front two-wheel setup.

With the display transitioning from an LCD meter to a 4.2-inch TFT display, it enables navigation to be displayed. This functionality, which can be used through a Bluetooth connection between the vehicle and the Y-Connect app, provides Turn by Turn navigation that shows the direction with arrow icons and distances.

When connected to the app, it also allows for email and incoming call notifications, as well as calls (a separate headset is required). Furthermore, the display can switch between two types of display modes: "mode focusing on function display" and "emotional mode where the function bar undulates according to the engine speed." Inheriting the "Y" motif, which is the icon of the "Tricity" series, it adopts a new design that incorporates the inverse trapezoidal silhouette and horizontal lines of the "Tricity 300".

The high-waisted axis creates an active movement, and it seems you can enjoy a driving experience that feels as reassuring as an SUV.

Although the design has changed, the main body size remains the same, and there is no change in ease of handling. I'm also looking forward to the differences in riding experience.

The newly added USB Type-C port is installed on the left side of the front inner panel. It is located outside rather than inside the usual box, making it easier to access the charging cable.

From here on, it will be solely the features of the "Tricity 155", but two safety features have been added: ESS (Emergency Stop Signal) and TCS (Traction Control System). ESS causes the front and rear flashers to blink during sudden braking, alerting following vehicles that you are decelerating rapidly, while TCS suppresses rear wheel spin, supporting starting and acceleration on all road conditions.
