Approaches “dirt characteristics”! A 3-step car wash with alkaline, acidic, and neutral shampoos

Even with vigorous scrubbing, it can be tough to remove grime from the vehicle's surface. It might be best to remove such dirt with a “three-step process.” What is this new era car shampoo that distinguishes washing according to the nature of the dirt?

3 steps to make your car shine

The dirt that attaches to the vehicle can be broadly classified into three types: "organic dirt," which includes exhaust gas and oil components; "inorganic dirt," such as water stains and minerals; and "everyday dirt," like dust. When trying to remove these different types of dirt with a single shampoo, the cleaning power may be insufficient or, conversely, too strong.

The LADAS "3PH CAR WASH SYSTEM" takes a scientific approach to this problem. It employs a system that uses three types of shampoos: alkaline, acidic, and neutral, tailored to the specific type of dirt. By deliberately separating the shampoos, it delivers the necessary cleaning power for each situation. This allows for effective and rational car washing while assessing the vehicle's condition.

STEP 1: "Alkaline Shampoo" to lift organic dirt

First, start with a pre-wash using an alkaline shampoo. The alkaline cleaning components will approach organic dirt that has acidic properties. It is particularly effective against road dirt and oil from exhaust, as well as stubborn insect stains.

Before the main wash, spray the diluted alkaline shampoo onto the areas of concern regarding dirt. By letting it sit for about 2 minutes, the surface dirt will gradually loosen. By "removing the dirt that can be removed first," before scrubbing hard, you can reduce the risk of wash scratches caused by friction in the later stages.

STEP2: Addressing dullness from inorganic dirt with "acidic shampoo"

For inorganic dirt that doesn’t come off with an alkaline approach, it's time for the acidic shampoo. It addresses water spots and rain stains that remain after it rains, as well as dirt with mineral components contained in the water that have adhered, leaving the body surface with a clear impression after washing.

For areas where water spots are a concern, use diluted acidic shampoo and let it sit for about 2 minutes, or gently wash with a sponge. This allows for an effective approach against stubborn dirt that is usually difficult to remove during a standard wash.

STEP3: Gently wash everyday dirt with "neutral shampoo"

The neutral shampoo, which focuses on ease of use, plays a role in finishing and maintaining. While it doesn’t have the strong cleansing power of alkaline or acidic shampoos, it is helpful for removing light dust and everyday dirt.

Lather the diluted neutral shampoo well and gently wash the entire body with a sponge. Instead of using strong ingredients every time, incorporating gentle car washes based on the condition of the vehicle is also important for maintaining the paint of your beloved car for a long time.
