【Reproducing Ryuuji-san's recipe】 Quickly make a bento with the "Void Rice Bento" on a busy morning! You can also get protein and iron.

Ryuuji's recipe allows you to enjoy a taste like that of a specialty store with easily accessible ingredients. From the popular "Void Series" on Ryuuji's Buzz Recipe Channel, we recreated the microwave-cooked omelet rice bento, aptly named "Void Rice Bento."

No need for fire, knife, or frying pan! "In the end, this is the best" "Nothingness Rice Bento"

Mr. Ryuji's "Nothingness Rice Bento" main ingredients.
【Ingredients】
Rice 200g
Eggs 2
Ketchup 2 tablespoons
Chicken broth powder 1/2 teaspoon
Mayonnaise 1 teaspoon
Salt and pepper to taste
☆Ketchup for finishing

【Toppings and other preferences】
Frozen spinach... 30g
Canned tuna... 1/2 can
【Instructions】

1. Heat the rice.

Mr. Ryuji actually used frozen rice, but the author used packaged rice. Of course, you can also use cooked rice.

2. Prepare the side dish

If you want your bento to have some color, prepare it in advance. Since Mr. Ryuji used frozen spinach as a side dish, the author did the same. Heat it in the microwave and let it cool slightly.

3. Beat the eggs

In Mr. Ryuji's video, it was said that using 2 eggs looks luxurious, so I indulgently used 2!

4. Make ketchup chicken rice

Put ketchup in a heat-resistant bento container and mix it in so that it becomes well blended.

5. Add chicken broth to the ketchup rice

Once the ketchup is well mixed with the rice, add 1/2 teaspoon of chicken broth, 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise, and a suitable amount of salt and pepper, and mix them together.
It's surprising to use "chicken broth" to bring out the chicken rice flavor!

6. Mix tuna into ketchup rice

Adding tuna to ketchup rice enhances the chicken flavor! It's recommended to add it because it brings out umami and richness.

7. Cook in the microwave

Flatten the surface of the ketchup rice and pour in the beaten eggs. Be sure to place the lid slightly off to prevent the eggs from bursting, and heat in the microwave at 600W for about 2 minutes and 20 seconds. If it still feels undercooked, add additional microwave heating in 10-second increments.

8. Top with ketchup and side dishes to complete.

Once the eggs are heated in the microwave, you can top them with ketchup and side dishes as you like, and it's done.

A quality omelet rice bento that is hard to believe is “void” is complete.

Ryuuji-san's "Void Rice Bento" is ready! It has great color and whets the appetite. When you scoop a spoonful and take a bite, you'll say, "Delicious!" The flavor of chicken broth and the texture of tuna truly make it feel like you're eating chicken. The moist ketchup rice, made silky with the oil from the tuna and mayonnaise, balances well with the eggs, which are a bit firm after microwaving and tastes delicious.
The protein-rich “eggs,” the easily accessible iron from “tuna,” and the spinach side dish, which is referred to as the “king of dark green vegetables,” is rich in fiber, iron, folic acid, and beta-carotene. It's very appreciated that a bento with such rich nutrients can be made just by heating in the microwave. Why not try making it yourself?
