【Daiso】Blocks direct sunlight! The 330 yen "Touch-Up Sunshade" has no gaps

The dashboard in the middle of summer is scorching. While the effectiveness of the sunshade changes with the fit, having a rearview mirror can sometimes cause the sunshade to float... Can the 330 yen "Touch-Up Sunshade" be used properly?

I tried using a 330 yen sunshade with a cutout that I got from Daiso

In August, consecutive days of extreme heat were record-breaking. I commute by car every day, but even with a sunshade, the temperature inside the car is quite harsh. Perhaps the sunlight leaking through the gaps in the sunshade is the cause of this.

So, what I got was Daiso's "Touch-Up Style Sunshade (Standard, with Cutout)." Since the product name specifically states (with Cutout), I want to experience its effect.
Product Name: Touch-Up Style Sunshade (Standard, with Cutout)
Price: 330 yen
Material: Main body - Polyester, polyurethane
Wire - Steel
Size: 130×76×0.1cm
● Daiso Industries
This sunshade features a cutout for the rearview mirror. This allows for installation without interfering with the rearview mirror, meaning it fits well against the windshield. Will this block sunlight from entering the car and change the temperature inside?

Once you get used to it, you can set it up in seconds.

As the name suggests, it is a touch-up type, so it expands in no time when you remove the storage band. The side facing the windshield is silver, and the side facing the interior of the car is black, which you lean against the glass surface.
Installation involves inserting the sunshade on the windshield side and hooking the notched part onto the arm of the rearview mirror.
Finally, you just need to secure it with the sun visor. The round frame of the sunshade is spring-like, so it won’t come off if it’s caught on something, but to eliminate any gaps, securing it with the car's sun visor is more reliable.

Although it took about 2 minutes to set up initially, I can now set it up in just a few seconds after getting used to it. Until last year, I was using an umbrella-style sunshade, but now that I know this convenience, there’s no going back!

This is amazing! It blocks light completely without any gaps easily!

With the sunshades I’ve used until now, there were often gaps around the rearview mirror where light could come through... but this sunshade has almost none of that, which is great.
Furthermore, the fluttering cover outside the round frame at the sides cuts sunlight without leaving any gaps. These features significantly reduce the amount of sunlight coming in.
It's clear to see this from outside the car as well. It's obvious that it can be installed without any gaps. It’s also convenient for taking a quick nap at service areas since it can block the surrounding gazes.

At a price of 330 yen, it's impressive that it blocks this much sunlight. I have been using it every day for about two weeks now, and there has been no damage.

The touch-up style makes it easy to insert and remove.

After use, you just twist it up and gather it. It has rubber attached, so it can be neatly gathered even without a storage bag, which is a great help. I keep it in a small gap between the driver's seat and the center console for easy access.
The sunshade sold at Daiso has compatible vehicle types listed on the official website. If it doesn't fit the size, gaps will form, so be sure to choose one that matches your car to enjoy a comfortable summer driving experience.
